2012 Tiffin Phaeton 36QSH or 2016 Berkshire XL 40 RB

I am going to sell my 2010 Coachmen by Forest River (M-385 DS) and upgrade to a newer RV. My question is what one would be the best?
The Berkshire has 10700 miles on it and the original owners are selling it, Garaged Kept and looks brand new.
The Tiffin is a 2nd owner alway garage kept 23000 miles in great like new condition.
Both are around the 150,000.00 price.

Any advice?
Thanks
Ron

The best advise I can give is the figure out what floor plan works best for you.
Because you already have an RV picking out the floor plan and options that you need (want) should help you go in the right direction.
Obviously the Berkshire at 40' will have more storage.

Tiffin has excellent customer support and great online resources. Lots of Pheatons out there - Tiffin's most popular model.

They are each really nice units.
If you need more space then go with 40' Berkshire
Keep in mind the 2012 Tiffin is 4 years older and most
likely will need items serviced and or replaced very soon.
Tires - Belts - Coolant .... just to name a few of items.

Thanks, I do like them both but the Berkshire has a floor plan we really like and like was said is 4 years newer.
I think we will go for the Berkshire.
Thanks for the replies.

If an 8 year old 36' Phaeton is priced the same as a 4 year old 40 Berkshire with half the miles, that should tell you something about the quality and value of each. Don't let others opinion decide for you. Go with the one that fits your needs best.
