2015/2016 Fleetwood Expedition 38k and Safe T Plus

I am interested in feedback from any 2015/2016 Fleetwood Expedition 38k owners that have the Safe T Plus installed.

Did you notice a big difference in the handling after installing the Safe T Plus?

Did you install it yourself and if so how difficult would you say it was to install?

What size tie rod mounting kit did you need for the Safe T Plus - 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 1 5/8" or 1 3/4" ?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

We don't have a Fleetwood, but we just installed the Safe-T Pluss on our Forza. Makes a big difference on the highway in winds. Call Safe-T Plus Customer Service if you can't figure out what size parts you need. They will walk you through it. We had it installed but I understand that it normally isn't too difficult. However, it took the shop four times to get it adjusted to track properly.

We don't own a Fleetwood either but I had one installed on our 38' DP Sportcoach Cross Country and it made a huge difference. I won't own a coach without one from now on.

I just installed one on my coach this last weekend.

It's really a simple install, though the most difficult part was getting the nuts off the u-bolt that holds the leaf springs. It took several cycles of the air compressor to get those off with the impact wrench, even after I broke em loose by hand. Do yourself a favor and soak those bad boys over night with some sort of penetrant.

Dialing it in involves a bit of luck (even the owner of the company says it's not an exact science). And a little sweat on a 100 degree day, with the bracket right near hot exhaust. I adjusted it twice and believe I have it where it needs to be. I'll find out Friday when I point the rig towards the lake.

As far as performance, I suppose I find that out Friday.
