2015 Tiffin F-53 Chassis Battery Replacement
Need some advice on what chassis battery should be used and specifications?
The existing battery is a Motorcraft ML-BXT-65-750. Any Recommendations ?
THANKS
DON

Go to Sam's or Costco, you can get 6 volt flooded batteries for around 90 bucks each, the quality is good and the capacity is similar to the OEM batteries. That is what I will do when I decide to replace the batteries in my 2015 Tiffin F53.

Search for a Group 65 size (physical dimensions) and with around 750 Cold Cranking Amps.
I use Sam's Club Duracell batteries in both the coach and daily driver. My last chassis battery was installed April 2011 and lasted until June 2020. When you go to buy take the old battery with you for the core charge.

I have a Interstate battery warehouse close to me, I always had great luck with Interstate batteries. Used them for boat, cars and coach and chassis.

I'm a big fan of AGM batteries and just replaced our chassis battery with a NAPA Legend Premium (Part# BAT 9865). Chose NAPA because they are all over the US, offer a good warranty, and had a screaming deal on the battery - ended up around $170 after tax and core.
Word of caution: AGM batteries are very sensitive to over/under charging, so make sure you use a charger/maintainer that specifically indicates its compatibility with AGMs.

Six to seven years is the typical life of a lead-acid battery if it is properly maintained and kept at full charge. How long do you plan on keeping this coach? If six years or less, get the same battery for replacement.

Cant beat costco for price or service. Put a new costco (interstate) battery in my wife's toyota highlander last fall. Recently noticed slower starter on startup. Tested and it measured only about 10 volts. One cell dead.
Took it back, told them why and walked out with a new battery 5 minutes later. No questions asked. Guy at the counter says it happens.
First time ever with a bad costco battery. In 30 years.
