2016 Newmar 3712 do not float

Hello everyone. We are down here in Naples Florida and the rig we purchased was stored off Fort Myers Beach and did not survive the surge. Thankfully our family is safe as well as our home so we are blessed.

The insurance company has totaled the rig but will not compensate us for the brand new Michelin tires we just put on. They are 255 80R 22.5 XRV tires. They have less than 100 miles on them. Any suggestions?

We will purchase another Class A when the settlement comes back from the insurance company.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

I would purchase a cheap set of used tires and exchange them for the new tires on the rig. At the price of new tires you will be able to sell them quite easily or put then on the replacement rig.

We recently replaced all of the tires on the coach. Rather than leave the old tires at the tire store I took them home and was able to sell them for a good price.

+1.

That's the way to go.
