2016 Winnebago Adventurer Alignment Issue

OK, so first of all I want to say I really like our Adventurer 37F. Great floor plan, residential refrigerator, King Bed, bath and a half, etc.

We have 6500 miles on a one year old coach and I've already had to replace two front tires and have the front end realigned.....$1800+. Why would Winnebago let their coaches leave the factory without an alignment. We are weekend users and take the coach to our cottage, but maybe have 500 pounds of gear, MAX. Tiffins I've owned never had this problem with the same FORD chassis. It's really sad to pay that much for a new coach and have to align the front end as soon as you buy it! The tire dealer said they never have seen anything like it.

I should have kept an eye on the tread wear, but this is the first new coach we've owned that had the problem! What's the deal, are there others with the same issue?

I have a different animal but when I got the coach it had goodyears on it. I had terrible luck with tire wear. Changed to different brand and all is good.


Be sure your tire pressure is set to the weight of the coach. Weight each corner individually.

In your manual it says to get an alignment when fully loaded. That makes sense to me. Adding 3000-4000 pounds to a coach could change a lot of things: axle weights, tire pressure, alignment.

After we loaded up we had an alignment, now have 35000 miles and now problems.

We had the same problem with our toad. Tires were wearing funny, needed to get new tires and an alignment after 20,000 miles or so.

We bought our Georgetown new in 2014 and Forest River actually recommends and will refund having an alignment done within the first 90 days of purchase.
Not sure if it's because they come from the factory out of alignment or because it's different after you load the RV up.
