The couch has an electric button for reclining all the way down to flat to use as a bed. The problem is the two footrests are mechanical and seldom work as advertised. They have a cable release that may or may not release and if they do release they may not stow properly. The dealership has made several attempts but so far not fixed the problem.

Any thoughts on a solution?

how I fixed mine

I fussed with the latch and cable length, eventually did get the one I would occasionally use to work but it was a wrestling match each time and just gave up on them. As you can see my fix attached. We never used it as a bed anyways so I've ordered a sofa with storage below. DW gets the chair- I get the couch, TV's up front so I relax length wise. Anyone interested its in the IRV2 classifieds

Sorry I don't have a solution for that! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
