2018 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 40D
Love the coach, but the manuals are tough, and the service crew doesn't know all of the answers.
1. I have the Aqua Go water heater. Took me forever to find the rotary switch to turn it on, but the next morning... cold shower. It did come with a manual and I had to go outside, open the panel, turn it off, wait 5 seconds, turn it back on, go inside, and turn the rotary switch back on. I bought a whole-house electric, instant water heater from Sears several years ago. I had to reset it so often I just gave it to the first electrician that said he wanted it and went back to a regular water heater. Anyone had experience with these Aqua Go's?
2. There is a connection in the water bay to connect to city water, but in the electric bay, sitting beside the power cord, there is another spooler with a water hose rolled on it. Same thing? I'm not sure.
3. Still trying to get the satellite to work. They gave me a Wineguard T4 manual, but the satellite is a P4. I think the only difference is the T4 is a in-motion satellite and the P4 is a stationary system, but I am curious if the instructions are the same, because I haven't been able to get more than half-way through the setup process without getting an error.
4. I'd like to know what some of these switches on the dash are for. I know what some of them are, but not sure how to use them. Auto-Generator Start sounds interesting, but not sure if I know how to set it. One thread I read said set it to 11.7 Volts.
5. Has anyone been able to get an Android phone to pair with the radio? I keep getting "Connecting" and then "No connection". There may be a pass code, but no one knows what it is.
6. There is a TV above the driver's seat and one across from the kitchen in the middle of the coach. When you turn on one, the other one turns on, so you have to keep cutting the front one off because it is always on a different station and since the volume control on one affects the other, it's kind of aggravating. Can you train the remotes to work with only one TV at a time?
The stack of manuals that come with the motor home together measure about 8" think. The manual for the RV itself is huge, but doesn't cover any of the dozens of gadgets on board. Some of the gadgets are covered in the Freightliner Chassis manual, but some aren't. It would take an entire semester at Yale to figure it all out.
