2021 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 33c
2021 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 33c. Having air conditioner problems. The Roof ACs are running and cooling as they should. BUT, the front AC is registering the temperature at 93 degrees when in fact it is more like 75 or so. The rear AC temperature is correct. Wondering if anyone els had this problem and what was the solution?

My first guess would be the temperature sensor mounted to an external wall up front that is getting very hot. If you find where that sensor is, and feel the surfaces around it, I'm betting you will feel they are pretty warm.

Yeah, sounds to me like sun heating the area where the thermostat is located.
I need to keep adjusting the thermostats depending on day/night/sun. The rear not so much as there is no big windshield.

Just to verify.
The thermostat reading is 93 - but the actual temperature in the coach is much less?
Or is the actual temperature in the front on the couch or dinette is ?? very hot?

The thermistor (AC remote sensor) on my front ac is above the driver seat cabinet but is close to the wall. It always reads high. I have mounted mini-thermometer/humidity devices under each sensor in my motorhome. They never match the thermostat readings exactly. Depending on weather/sun/clouds etc. they are off from +/- 1-8 degrees. Just something to live with.

I will check the area, but when this started happening, I turned one of the vent toward the thermistor sensor and it did nothing. I can get the temp down to 94 or 93 ish but that is the lowest and the MH feels like it is in the 70s.

The Thermistor sensor is in the front of the MH, so yes more heat, but I turned one of the vent toward the sensor and it did nothing. I can get the temp down to 94 or 93 ish but that is the lowest and the MH feels like it is in the 70s.

Yes, the reading is 93, but it is about 75. Front of the MH. The rear is 72.

My forward sensor is on a forward wall panel that is effected by the sun.
Unscrew the thermistor from the wall and pull it out and let it dangle by the wires so it doesn’t touch the wall and see if that changes your findings.
