210 HWH Check Valve

I could user some help with my leveling jacks. The check valve for the front drivers side has failed. You can raise the coach up but when the joy stick returns to the center it comes right back down.

I was looking to see if I can just replace orings or is it a valve I need to replace and where is it at. I know there are the release valve right below the power ring but I don't know if that's what I need to rebuild/replace.

It's not a check valve but an electric solenoid valve that controls each leveler. They open with an electric signal then are supposed to seal closed when the power is removed. If your levelers have spring return, there should be one for each leveler on the hydraulic control system and the defective one will probably need to be replaced. It is possible a seal has failed or something is keeping it from closing off completely but more than likely replacement is the best option. Usually the solenoids just screw into the side of the hydraulic controller. If your hydraulic system is power up and power down, there will be two solenoids for each leveler.

Maybe the service manual will help.

Thanks for your help but the 210 doesn't use electric solenoid valves. It's simply a hydraulic control manifold. On the manifold is 8 plunger valves. 4 levels the coach and 4 retract the cylinders. All of this is non electric hydraulics. There is two levers that you swing out, they hold the retract valves open until you move them out. The center joy stick operates the lift/level valves. There is a electrical ring that also get activated when you move the joy stick that turns the pump on.

If you follow the hydraulic lines the manifold to the cylinders, there are no solenoid valves the go directly to the cylinders.

I have a call into HWH tech support this morning so I hope to hear back soon.

I did pull the plunger valve and inspect. I didn't see anything damaged. Basically there is a seat much like a seat in a carburetor. in that seat is a ball bearing. when the plunger is pressed it pushes the ball out of the seat and allows flow. I'm guessing that's what I need to replace.
