25f, don't worry about it. If it gets into the low 'teens or single digits, then I'd drive to .......Arizona!

Are you staying in it? Are you hooked up to electric, water and have propane?

Thanks Cruzbill for that caring and thoughtful response
If you are living in the coach now dont worry about it, If it is parked and not winterized then maybe you should winterize it or at least drain the water lines and empty the water heater. That is about all I do and so far so good. If not then maybe you better listen to Cruzbill!!!

In Florida here also, this is my plan.
Turn on heat inside.
Open the cabinets under the kitchen sink and the vanity in the bathroom to allow warm air to circulate.
Maybe even put a heat lamp of some sort in the wet bay, but that's probably not really necessary.
Check the hourly forecast and I expect you'll find that it's only going to be below freezing for a few hours, which is not enough to cause a real problem.
BTW, I just checked to see where you are.
I'm in Jax too, and the coldest night I see coming in the forecast is 30 degrees - where are you seeing 25?

I'm a little more cautious so my suggestions would be: 1) This evening disconnect the water hose from the rig and spigot then drain the hose. 2) I'm assuming you are like most of us "southern" campers and are using space heaters to keep the coach warm. You will need to heat with the propane furnace that heats your wet bay also, or put a small space heater in the wet bay. ( Walmart sells a 250W space heater for $9.95, perfect for wet bay.) 3) depending on how your coach is laid out, you might want to bring in a slide(s) if they have exposed water lines running under them. 4) You might want to open cabinets below sinks and any other "plumbed" item. So warm air can circulate around the water lines.
This is probably overkill for 25 degrees but I'd rather take precautions rather than make repairs.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I would go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy enough of the rubber (not styrofoam) pipe insulation for 3/4" pipe to cover the water hose. It comes in 6' lengths. You can join it with duct tape. Buy either a small roll of foil-backed fiberglass insulation or a water heater insulation kit to wrap the spigot. You can secure it with the duct tape. Finally, I would get one of the metal clamp-on flood lights and a 100 watt light bulb and put it in the wet bay.
We did this one year in Nashville when the temp was 16 degrees. We were the only ones in the CG that the manager let turn on the water!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
Happy New Year!

Ah, that'd do it.
Your profile says Fleming Island, so I thought we were much closer.
I just checked and it looks like you're in for about 12 hours of at or below freezing temps tonight into tomorrow.
So yes, I'd go with a heat lamp in the wet bay to keep things toasty in there too.

The insulation won't do anything if there isn't running water to keep it warm. The insulation reduces (doesn't eliminate) heat loss. But in time, even with lots of insulation, if there is no heat source, it will freeze.
I went to an RV show a few months ago and took a picture of a fresh water hose that had a heat tape along it's side. Can't find that pic but I think it was around $100 for 25 foot or so. Now, that hose would be good to wrap, as long as it is rated not to overheat.
This is where it would be great to have an App to control the RV's heating system to monitor temp and turn it on when in storage (as long as it's outside, has fuel, etc). And...I would put a smart switch relay on that fresh water hose to turn that on when it's cold too...

Most class A's have heated enclosed tanks, Simply running the furnace does the trick. HOWEVER I do not know about yorus.
Last night (25 degrees) I have a string of C-9 (The old big outdoor type) Christmas tree lights under my water tank and a 100 watt caged light bulb (The cage insures the light itself does not touch anything but air) in the valve end of the bay.
I stayed liquid all jight
Tonight I may need to fire up the furnace (Teens expected).

I forgot to mention that we left the kitchen faucet on to just a trickle!
