I too have changed to 28". Covers more than enough windshield, reduces cost and seems to work better since they are not as prone to lifting off due to wind.
The first time an 18 wheeler passed me going the other direction I thought the wash from his truck had ripped the wipers off the coach. It looked like they were lifted four inches off the windshield.
