36 foot diesel

After some considerable time I have decided against buying a toyhauer class a (mainly because the newer diesel models dont offer the layouts that we prefer and its pretty hard to find a fairly priced low miles good very good condition older model) So now exploring 36+ diesel in the 2003 to 2009 range. Can anyone provide any advice on the best quality rv

Find a floor plan you like and go from there. A general "which RV is best" question won't result in much good information.

In that range, Foretravel, Beaver, Monaco, Safari, Holiday Rambler, Tiffin, Newmar, Country Coach not necessarily in that order. All good solid brands that you are sure to find a floor plan that works for you. If I were you I would look for horse power, tag axle and aqua hot.

I have a 2005 Winnebago Journey 36G. I have owned it for 3 years and really enjoy it. It has a 350 hp Cat engine and very nice interior.

There are Newmars in that year range that are in the 36 ft plus in length. Exceptional quality.

But I'm biased.

I spent almost 8 months searching for our rig. Just picked up our 05 Foretravel U270 last week. It's 36' with a 400HP Cummins ISL. After exhaustive research I was sold on the Quality of Foretravel compared to most other Manufacturers. There are very few manufactures that make a 36' with 400+HP that are still in business.
