Our first MH was a 36' Phateon, the best word I can use to describe it was "twitchy" the more wind the more "twitchy" it became.

When we decided to move up we drove a 40' Phaeton, 40' Beaver and a 43' Entegra (tag).

I listed them in the order or drivability, stability, comfort. The longer wheelbase made a difference in the drivability but changing to a heavier coach and chassis improved it yet another level. The Beaver was not a tag but there was a difference between it and the Phaeton. Then we drove the Entegra...... we can't wait for our next trip, we actually fight over who gets to drive now.

The longer wheelbase will add comfort and stability, the overall quality of the chassis improves it again in my opinion. The extra weight that requires the tag axle improves all of the above but there are trade offs, in our case they are all worth it though.

Good Luck!
