After reading all your posts, I am to buy a 50' 50 amp cord. the po gave me some connectors, including a Y shape combiner and regular adapters. I called camping world they don't have 50 amp in that long. looks like i can get it from craigslist for about $150 apiece. in so cal, many boat owners sell the cords after they sold boats.

I have a 30' extension and I'm glad I do. Last summer in Bar Harbor Maine our pedestal developed a problem after the second day, thanks to my surge protector no problems to us.We were offered a new site but that meant having to face the hassle of packing up to move to the next site. CG said they would have it fixed. I used the extension to hook up to the site next to me which was unoccupied.

Just bought a 30 amp extension cord, 25", as last time we camped we were short about 12" from the power box, so no air conditioning for us without using the genny, and it was hot at night! We boondock alot, so may not use it often but 12" damn that was frustrating. LOL

I carry a 30ft 50A cord and I've only used it at the two FMCA and one GoodSam rally that we have attended.
