90 Degree H2O Hose Quick Disconnect?
In an on going effort to streamline camp set up I'm considering putting a 90 degree quick disconnect adapter on my city water connection. I'm hoping this will avoid undue strain on the hose turning 'south' out of the coach and also to make it quicker (and hopefully no leakie!) during the connection. In my case the 90 degree adapter would be at a 5 o'clock position angled down to where the hole opening is....
Sound viable?

Many of us have been using a 90 with a disconnect for years. Those with trailers can screw the disconnect male end directly onto the exterior water connection, tighten it with pliers and never have to worry about trying to connect again or leaking issues.
For trailer use, connect the male connector, snap on the female quick connector, attach the 90 and then attach the water regulator followed by connecting the hose. Now you just quick connect the hose to the RV and the faucet.

I have one bought at Home Depot a few years ago. Works great - takes the strain off the connection and easy to connect/disconnect.

I converted both the "shower faucet" and the water fill. On the water fill I added a quick disconnect. The shower faucet was adapted so I could connect a hose to it. Once I even washed the coach while the girls were outlet mall shopping! Loved it!

I don't remember how long I've been doing it now. Might even be using the 90� El for over 20 years now. Just transferred it from rig to rig.
