94 Bounder air conditioner solar indicator

Is it possible for leds not to light up even though power from the panel is getting to it?

LEDs can be burnt out or connected reverse polarity and not function. Not sure what you are referring to "94 Bounder air conditioner solar indicator."

Are you talking about a small solar panel mounted on top of the rooftop A/C? They are often not run through a controller and might have just LED light to indicate voltage from the solar cells. If a diode is installed in the system to prevent battery discharge in darkness, that diode might be bad and allow the LED to light from battery power, not solar power.

I'd disconnect the solar panel from the battery to see if LED goes out. Also with battery disconnected, go on roof in sunlight and take a voltage reading directly from solar panel itself. A 23 year old solar panel could be due for replacement.

I never thought about disconnecting the solar panel. After some investigation, I did a diode test and sure enough, it is burnt out. I did a temporary replacement with one that came with the solar panels. I wish they still sold the indicator for 1994 bounder but couldn't find them anywhere. I love to try and keep things original which keeps the charm of the RV. I love this thing and even though no slide-out or leveling jacks, it's still cozy.

Glad there are others who like the style and warmth of the older interiors. I look at pics of some of the new models with modern furnishings and how cold and hard they look. To each their own they say, whomever they are.
Welcome to IRV2. Lots of info and help here abouts.
I know, off topic.

It's funny you say that. Everything except for the bed is comfortable lol. Driving it feels like I'm driving a 90s van with the captain chairs and literally flows on the road. I think a small fixer upper for a little over 9000 isn't bad at all.
