94 Coronado trouble

Tried to start about a week ago and it wouldn't. checked spark, good. checked gas and carb as dry as a bone. pulled fuel filter and looked clean. turned ignition on and no gas came out of line. While looking around found blown 5Amp fuse going to BD relay. put new fuse in and the relay clicked a couple of times and blew. Could this possibly have any effect on engine starting, and if it doesn't is there anything besides the fuel pump I should check before going through the hassle of changing the fuel pump. Any help eoud be greatly appreciated.

Sorryabout that. I said carb because I'm old and everything that sits on the top of an engine and looks like a carb just comes out carb. It's TBI and its a 454 Chevy. Will that help?

Ok, thanks for the extra info , first thing before pulling the tank , to replace the pump .
Disconnect the wiring harness from the pump, or as close to the tank as possible, then replace the fuse, and turn on the key; to eliminate the chassis wiring harness, and /or the relay, as a source of the short.

5 amp , doesn't sound like the main power to the pump, might just be the activation power to the relay.
Wiring diagram would be a big help.
At this point , I'm not sure if the wiring info would be available from Chevy or Workhorse , not sure the year that the transition took place in MH chassis.

My 93 coronado fuel pump blew a fuse and Now I cant remember what it was. do you have a diagram of the fuse block it will definitely refresh my memory. Or take a light tester and check the fuses to find the blown one. I want to say it is something like "Eng B"
