97 fleetwood pace arrow-won't move

About a month ago I bought my new home and started working on the inside. Well, when I went to move it to another site: it started up just fine but won't move when put in gear. I've had someone check the shift linkage but it's fine. And the fluids are all filled up. Please help!!??

When it's in gear and you push the accelerator does the engine rev up or does it start to rev then bog down?
Is the parking brake released?

Need DETAILS:

Does the engine rev up like the transmission is not in gear?

Does the transmission go into reverse and drive and "try" to move?

Yes it does Rev up. Checked the parking brake and that's not it. It doesn't move in any gear.

New brakes rust the same as old ones. Have you had dew in the mornings or rain

If it won't move in any gear, and you have a GM P30/32 chassis, it's almost guaranteed to be the Auto-Park. Did you get any brake smell last time driving it? I had a '96 Pace, and could expect about every 3rd year to have to replace the pump and brake shoes. If you can pull the pin on the cable from it to the transmission shifter, it will move but you'll have no parking brake. At least you will know where the problem is. I got used to pulling it to get back home. I eventually had to replace the trans from it trying to apply while driving. Even back then, not many shops could or would work on them. Good luck if you can't do it yourself! Now you know why GM sold out to Workhorse, but with GM'S reputation they got out of MH chassis altogether.

How high will the engine rev up? How many RPM's?

I would be very reluctant to suggest to anyone to start pulling pins etc. unless they had some knowledge of how the "Auto Park" operated and what to look out for when trying to disassemble anything related to it. You only have two hands and ten fingers and want to keep them all.
We need a little more information from the OP to get a feel of what is actually taking place here.
If the OP can turn the ignition key on and shift out of the park position he may hear the AP pump run and see a warning lamp on the dash go out. We simply don't know yet. Information is coming across slowly for some reason.

I do have that chassis! And I have a nice mechanic friend helping me where he can, and he said the same thing! He will be here in a few minutes. Over night the battery died out of the blue. But I'm going to atribute that to operator error. Hehe. Thank you all so much I will keep you posted.

I can turn the ignition. And it does sound as if it is shifting. But when gas is applied it simply sits still
