97 Four winds hurricane Engine help?

Recently bought a used 97 four winds hurricane RV, 33', class A.
Does anybody know what this canister is and where does it hook up to?

Hi ct101job and

Sorry, but we still need more info. Which chassis does your Hurricane have - Ford or Chevy? As the old saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words".

Without any other information at this time I'm going to take a "wild guess" that it is a vacuum reservoir. IF that is what it is, the purpose is to provide vacuum for the heater controls and cruise control when the engine is under heavy throttle conditions. HOWEVER, it could be something else entirely.

That said, it should not be hanging from a hose. Is there a broken bracket or plastic mounting tab nearby?
