98 Holiday Rambler Vacationer black water valve

1998 Holiday Rambler Vacationer. I need to replace the black water knife valve. I can see the valve by craning my neck in the compartment under the front panel and then up. I can only see the two front bolts and maybe touch them if I lay in the compartment. Anyone have any advice on reaching the valves? Thank you.

I think you'll have to remove or loosen the panel to gain access to the gate valve. Also check, perhaps the connection behind the gate valve can be loosened so the whole valve assembly can be removed.

The easiest way is to open the curbside compartment and remove the aluminium panel then crawl in and R&R the valve or the other option is to do like BFLinn81 suggested, you may elect to leave the aluminum panel permanently off as there is a lot of wasted space left behind it .
