'99 Bounder Wipers

Hello,

This seems like a dumb question, but can someone tell me what wipers to buy for a '99 Fleetwood Bounder 36S? Asking because I bought a pair of wipers last year and they didn't work. I know the original wipers were TV6-26's, but I can't locate a cross-reference for them. Fortunately I rarely drive in the rain, but now they are really falling apart. Specifically, would these work?

Thanks,
Toni

Can you describe what you mean when you say "they didn't work" ...?

How did they not work? ...did they fall apart? ...did they streak too much?, ...or just plain couldn't get them to fit on the arm?

I don't see why those that you linked wouldn't work.

However, I've always used the Wiper Technologies blades. You can buy them for a few bucks less at RVupgrades (an iRV2 vendor) currently for $27.99. To verify and confirm, here is the Wiper Technologies catalog and you'll see that your Bounder takes the WT6-26, go HERE for catalog

Go here to buy: Wiper Technologies WT6-26 Heavy Duty Wiper Blade - 26" -- RVupgrades.com

Some will use cheaper blades on motorhomes with no issues but I've always preferred a little more heavy-duty blades for the motorhomes I've owned. I think it comes from driving transit buses in the PNW where it rains a lot and the OEM blades spec'd for the buses are a nice heavy-duty blade.

Take one of your blades off and take it to an auto parts store. If they can't match it up have them find refills for your existing blades.

THANK YOU, I just ordered the ones you linked. I appreciate your response.

The ones I purchased previously had no needed mounting holes as I recall.

I'd actually taken them to Autozone and they were at a loss.

Every time I need to replace wipers I buy from rockauto.com. The last ones were 28", and cost $3.49 ea.
Take a picture of the blade mounting style and compare to pictures on rockauto.com
Do not try to look them up by make, model, but rather by wipers and length.

If you want the seller to do all the lookup work, contact rometruckparts.com
