99 Safari Zanzabar Outlett problem

Does anybody know where the fuze box is I found the circuit breaker above the bed in the bedroom but not any fuzes anywhere . No power on the outlets on passenger side inside or outside please help.Thanks David

The outlets are 110 volt and are controlled by a circuit breaker not a fuse.....fuses are for 12 volt. Use your volt / ohm meter to check the power pedestal to ascertain if you are actually getting two 120 volt hot legs. I am making an assumption that you are using a 50 amp power source.

Yes 50 amp no voltage anywhere and the breaker is not tripped and also all the outlets are out except the two in the kitchen .i do see where I need to replace the GFI outlet in the bathroom won't reset .I hope that might fix it and thanks for the response.David

Did you use a VOM to check the pedestal as suggested in post #2? What are the results?

We were at a campground earlier in the month where the pedestal had one dead leg. A quick check would be to plug into a 30 amp circuit to see if things work.

One, check to confirm voltage at campground post. Second, you noted the breaker above the bed ok, how about the other breakers, because all 110 volt goes thru this panel to the entire coach.
Third, check your inverter to confirm all fuses / breakers are ok. If you have a 2000 watt inverter there should be three pop-out fuses. Make sure they have not popped out.
If all the above is ok, you may have an inverter problem. A lot of Safaris were equipped with Heart Interface Inverters, and they are known to have some problems.

Glad you found and resolved the problem.
I suggest you go buy a digital volt / ohm meter and learn how to use it. If you want to try to some of your own trouble shooting and repairs the instrument is something you'll have to have and know how to use it. Home Depot and similar stores have them and you can get one for under $50
