Well 156" window awning spring rusted enough to break. I was able to heat and bend to reuse but it broke at last pre-wind. I think I found the assemblies. Looks like S is for satin meaning light gray/alum color thats what I have. B for black.... Champagne seemed to be available for some...
Pw I'm guessing polar white first thought was Pewter when I started thread I edited it duh lol????? How did not think polar white. Was worried I would he wrong assembly.
I'm thinking no use paying extra $20 ea for alum/gray/satin. I might end up buying both the other is probably hanging by a thread. I have Rostoleum dull alum spray paint, the awning tube caps look like some paint will help preserve the rest . They are getting a bit dark and dry looking , painting them was first thing I was think of while drilling out rivets . The top cap is just pinned stainless 1/8 rod I can swap it if not to hard to drive out.
In extra breakdown parts down a page it just shows assembly , individual. parts RH & LH springs I'm guessing in two length but no listings on internet anywhere. Rvpartsexpress is less than half price of other listings out there.
Everybody think I'm picking right part.? PW is polar white.? Or get black to be safe more sun resistant? As usual finding the right parts is more time consuming and tedious pain in butt than the job. I guess I should be happy there are still some out there. Unless some industrious individual sourced 3/4." Torsion spring. At first price I seen ,as much as patio spring with alum. end parts, I was looking for a bit.
