Do all fellow RV'ers use covers on their Air conditioners when storing their R.V outside during winter months in the snowy north? I do but it is getting harder and harder to climb the ladder.
What do others do?

When I owned a travel trailer with roof top AC unit I did not cover it. Although I did cover the entire trailer from December to March. Other then that no covers.
Never covered my fivers AC for 14 years and it is 19 years old now and still going strong. I will not cover a home unit either as if somebody turns it on with the cover on is may be hotter the a norcold fridge in summer time.
I covered mine last year and when we left for Texas on 1st of Jan. couldn't get them off. They were shredded when we hit Port Aransas, TX. We live in MI.
