A Little Shady Advice

[ATTACH]202891[/ATTACH
We were traveling down the road when the shade at the dining banquette fell out of the hardback valance. I’ve ordered new brackets. My question is how do you install them. It’s a tight space in the hardback valance. The valance is screwed into the millwork above and the brackets are screwed into the valance. Leaving an impossible space to work in. I am 6’-8” and have to turn myself into a pretzel to work in that area. The bracket is a 2 piece connected in the middle with a slotted flange at each end. Looking for some wisdom.

I think that’s exactly how I’m going to try and accomplish this task. Thank you for the vote of confidence
