On mine, it's in the same area as the porch light and the step switch.
At first I thought there was a switch there that did nothing, but of course it only works when the switch on the light it also on. It took me months to stumble across that...

It's a '96, same era as yours, and the same mfg (Fleetwood).

That's weird. I only have 3 switches by the front door - electric stairs, storage compartment, and porch light. No switch for the overhead lights.

On a 93 Bounder DP it had a switch on the dash that turned that and a light under the hood on. Click image for larger version

I have that clear switch. One thing I'm very confused about is no tachometer on the dash. Is that normal for a 94 bounder?

I would think not, the tachometer is important for descending steep grades. Is it possible that someone took it out?
I found one on Ebay.

We had a '93 Airstream 34 foot with the P30/454 chassis that came without a tach. One of the first mods I did was put one in!
It had a switch for the overhead florescent lights by the side entrance door though! As well you could turn each of the three off with the switch on the lights themselves. Maybe a switch could be wired in and installed some place close to the other switches.

Maybe if you put your location and other info into your signature, someone near you can give you a hand. Lots of us retired mechanical types out here willing to help out a fellow RV'er.

Quite true, I've met a 'stranger' near me to give him a hand with his RV.
I just checked, mcarden is in SC, so not close enough to me that I can just swing by some day.

Thank you anyways. There are a couple of things I'm a little nervous to do. This is my first RV. I have a fifth wheel but very different lol.

"porch light"

The light you are referring to is for illumination while setting up in the dark.

I have a 2004 Bounder 35E.

There is a light switch on the dash with a headlight symbol. This is the light switch for that light. There are other switches for the fans and outside music transfer. On mine it is a row of switches to the right of the radio.

Luggage compartment lights are controlled individual by a slide switch on each light and a master switch as you exit my coach to the right grouped with the switches for the kitchen overhead florescent, lock stairs out(defeated for safety by the ignition on) and outside porch light over the exit door.

I hope this helps.
