Two of us can go about 10 days with dry camping and it's the gray water that fills up first. We dump the gray water at about a 3:1 ratio with the black water. . That will generally show 3/4 on the black water gauge. We could probably go 4 gray water dumps to 1 black water but it gets a bit stinky when driving around. We have a 70 gallon gray water tank and a 60 gallon black water tank.
When we're using a CG with showers we still use about the same amount because there's usually a dump station or sewer hook up and were not as careful with our water use.

Not that common for dump stations on the interstates. Currently driving across country and having a problem when we're not staying at a campground. Anyone with info on I10 from CA to Ga?

When I found our 2002 fleetwood Revolution it had been sitting in the RV storage in the middle of summer for I would guess about 3 to 4 months with a near full black tank. OMG it took weeks to get rid of the stink. Before storage I used hot HOT water in the flush system.
