So how are you trying to power the AC?
If you are not hooked up to shore power or using your generator, that is probably the problem. AC has to have 110 to operate and inverters won't run it. If you are on shore power or generator, check the circuit breaker and make sure it hasn't tripped.
Other wise, is it doing anything at all? Will the fan run? Does it hum?

I know on mine if it loses power while running there is a pretty good delay before the compressor will kick on one power is restored.

Welcome to the forum.
2.5 minute delay is common after restoring power. Seems like forever.

BTW...do yourself and us a favor by putting your MH and Toad information into your signature
This will really help in all your future posts, so you won't have to type it in each time.
You do this by:
1) Going to the top of this page and click the top left tab named “User CP”
2) Look at the menu on the left and scroll down to “Settings & Options” and click “Edit Signature”
3) In that text box type all the information about your MH, Year, model, length, mileage, any aftermarket extras installed, your toad and so on. You’ll be limited to 3 lines unless you become a IRV2 supporter.
Consider signing up and becoming a IRV2 supporter. It’s a small way to give back to what we all reap here.

Try cycling the 12 volts, salesman switch if you have one or battery switch while the coach is unplugged. Seen a few occasions where the t-stats have to be rebooted for some reason and then they come back up and work fine.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
You should turn off the A/C when switching power sources. As Myron said, there is a long delay before the unit comes back on when switching as you did.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Ran into the same thing on my older Allegro this past summer. As mine turned out there is a small breaker on the back of the generator (Onan) that tripped. Checked all inside breakers and fuses and found all was good, checked generator itself and found a decal that was dirt covered mentioning a breaker on the genny itself, after looking and feeling with my hand I found it. Switched the breaker back on and all is good again. Not sure if this will fix your issue or not but thought I would mention it.

Think it could be a transphere switch but we can’t find it. Generator won’t power it.

AC won’t come on
On mine I have to look closely at the Heat pump thermostat. If the little bitty numbers 1 2 3 aren’t visible and only the 1 & 3 are showing I have to turn the battery switch off then back on ( for the coach ) and wait for the thermostat reboot. When the 1 2 3 are Back on then I go to a/c auto and set the temp I want. Works every time.

Does the other 110 stuff work from the generator? If so, that would probably rule out the transfer switch.
Have you checked the breaker inside of the coach power panel?
Have you tried it on shore power?
Just to limit the possibility of the thermostat, does the rest of the systems (heat, fans) work as designed?

It actually has nothing to do with the AC
The generator is putting out 83 amps
It goes through the power control system and shows 83 amps but it won’t power anything
Reading in the manual it sounds like it’s not going through the control switch
All 110 works off shore power

Sounds like the transfer switch is stuck on the shore power side.
