Access Aqua-Hot riveted boiler housing

Does anyone know how to access the riveted housing on an Aqua-Hot AHE-100-03S-12VDC in a 2005 Beaver Marquis? Have no clearence to get drill in there to drill out rivets. What a STUPID design!!!! I have a leak in there and can,t gain access. As always, thanks in advance.

Make sure the coolant recovery tube at cap is not split or cap leaking first.

The only way to get to the rivets, and there a lot of them, is to remove the unit from your RV. I did a total rebuild of mine last year, it was quite fun.

Access Aqua-Hot riveted boiler housing

Correct , I helped the rebuild of mine disconnect lines , drain , unbolt the unit and pull it out. Then drill the rivets out. You can’t really access much unless it’s out. Get a friend to help .. you’ll need the extra hands.
