Accordian shower curtain on Pace Arrow Vision
We have a 2000 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision 36B.
The bathroom shower has an accordian-type slide across shower curtain, which is folded up tightly against the edge of the wall of the shower and held with a snap strap when not in use. When it's open, the bottom of the curtain fits in a little "canal" strip with sides on it, at the bottom of the shower where you step out. This is supposed to stop water from leaking onto the floor when the shower is in use. The curtain is in good shape.
Just wondering if anyone has found a better type of permanent shower curtain to replace the accordian style one? No matter how well we ensure each of the accordian "pleats" are centered and seated in the bottom "canal" strip, we always end up with some water on the bathroom floor from the shower.
I know it's time to lay a new bead of caulk around the shower wall/floor junction areas and that willl help, but just wondering if anyone has replaced this type of shower curtain with something better?
Due to the limited size/space of the bathroom, which is a combo toilet and shower room, with the vanity across the "hall" from the bathroom, perhaps we just have to live with what we've got now. Just wondering.....
