Added Skid Plate to rear corner of Class A
I live on a ridge line and my driveway transition from the street is not friendly to my 40' beast.
To protect the muffler and fiberglass I fabricated 2 skid plates to be welded to the frame in the corners. Pictures below. Basically there is a big flat vertical spot on each side of the towing assembly that support the tow receiver & radiator and also is welded to the frame rail.
Took a "I" beam and cut it in half to create the main support and then added a 8x8 plate to the end and another support strut.
I also rotated the Muffler clamp to the top of it, it was the lowest point, now not. I will have to rework the rock guard but for now without a toad it is off the rig.
