Adding fresh water

When boondocking how can I add fresh water to tank. I have the Gulfstream 2004 Ultra Supreme. Any suggestions?

I do not have a anywhere to just pour in water...only a hose connection with a valve for filling tank or use as city water.

Gravity fill if available is easiest. Else through the city water connection. I use a electric drill powered pump to move the water.

This^^, as it appears you don't have any gravity fill access.

One thing you might try that, in theory, should work. Using a water jug like shown in the video, connected to the tank fill inlet with a short hose connection, and the valve turned to "tank fill," should allow the water to flow into the tank by gravity as long as the jug is held above the level of the tank. Never done this but it should work. You'd have to support the jug at that level which complicates things, and it might be easier to just buy a small pump.

when I had my 5ver when boondocking where I used to hunt. I had a 50 gal plastic drum in the bed of the truck. siphon the water into the gravity fill connections. might work the city fill connection too.
once a week or so I would go to town and fill the drum again.
I am sure a electric (12V) pump would work good as well.

On my DP I flip the switch to 'Fill Tank' then use the 12v pump winterization connection placing the hose in a 5 gal bucket and just pump the water into the tank. Works great.

Yep, I use the winterizing valve as well. Put the hose that normally would go in the rv antifreeze jug into the water pail, and pump away.

When I do that it just pumps water to all the fixtures in the house and not into the fresh water tank. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Looking at a typical system diagram, If you turn the fill valve to "tank fill" and close all the faucets, the pump will circulate the water through the system and back into the tank with the additional water from the winterizing line included. When winterizing, the water cannot go to the tank because of the closed fill valve, but water with antifreeze is circulated to all faucets when they are opened.
