No vent necessary..... unit doesn’t run constantly..... once it reaches set temp, it “maintains” that temp....

We love ours.... right now it’s full of rock-hard frozen meat and other delicious items.... temp is maintaining a constant 28 degrees....

When we are driving and outside temp makes it necessary to run generator for roof AC’s, I’m also providing power for this unit... This allows it to maintain a constant temp....

Knock on wood **** it’s been running 24/7 for 3+ years.....

At 28 degrees I can't see the meat being rock hard. Normal freezer temp is 0 f.

Maybe you meant 28 degrees Rankin? Grin.
