Going to more HP does not always mean better performance. With higher horse power comes more weight too. Example: My son's former coach was a 2016 Mountain Aire with the ISM 500 hp Cummins engine. My Bus has the 450 hp Cummins. We both towed a 12,000# trailer. When going up any long grade, I could pull away from him. Reason was that his coach weighed 7500# more than mine. Now, he has 600 hp and 1950# torque, but his coach weighs 19,000# more than my Bus. I suspect we will both climb I-70 west of Denver at the same pace.
