Since the "Aero" is a straight through muffler, have you considered just installing a straight piece of exhaust tubing of the appropriate diameter and length instead?

If you pick up and look down the Aero muffler (at least mine) there is a five inch diameter hole all the way through. There are little scoops that grab some exhaust and force it into the outer shell of the muffler. If I were to do it again I think I'd really consider Fleetman's suggestion.

The aero muffler is louder,, but not obnoxious. If your pulling a heavy load it's nice to hear the rpm humm from the muffler on the hills.
Performance wise is was hard to tell a difference. Honestly probably would of rather had the quietness over the sound this produced
It was on a Monaco dynasty.

Unless you enjoy a louder exahust noise, save your money. And if your looking for more performance, you won't notice it on a diesel rig unless you add a performance chip.

Just MHO,
Sammie
