Air Bags

any one on here had any trouble with replacement air bags up front, I cut out the bag on the drivers side that was flat, and per instructions on the new ones they roll up like a burrito, I used wire ties to keep it's shape and slowly turned it up through the hole in the bottom of the a arm, workhorse P30, and it all went well had the pads in place and put air to it and the damn thing leaked air at the seam, needless to say I was pissed and nothing more to do than to cut a new one out and try again with the second one, made sure all edges on the hole opening on the a frame where filed off there was no sharp edges and tried again taking my time and it went in just fine and all the pads where in place gave it some air and guess what it leaked at the seam also, got them from workhorse air lift 81560 is the number on the box, 2004 Holiday Rambler

What brand Air Bags did you choose? Where are they leaking from? I am planning to replace both of mine due to a blown driver's side bag soon. I will pressure test them before installing them now.

The videos I watched showed removing the valve stem, capping them off and putting them in hot water to make them easier to roll up. Did you replace the valve stem? Hope they weren't damaged damaged the installation and can be returned.

air bag replacement

I bought Air Lift, got them from the workhorse dealer and the only way to gt them out is cut them out so they are in pieces, I believe they had sat on the shelf a very long time and had gone bad with me making them small and putting them up inside the spring pushed them over the edge and the seams gave out. Cutting them out I used a sonic cutting tool and that worked well instead of using a knife. I did everything to what the instructions said to do.
