Thank you all!! We had never heard of the death wobble until yesterday afternoon and now have many sources of info on that topic. I'm kinda amazed that the dealership that installed the rig to Jeep connection did not give us that info when we first contacted them in June to explain what was happening.
We are currently on a test drive without our Jeep!

Curious to know your test results.

We also tow a Jeep Cherokee and have had that problem 3 times normally at lower speeds and normally some event disturbs the motion of the Jeep. One time was a pothole another was a curb.

Bet you'll find that was your problem.

Jeep has a "fix" and it is listed in your owners manual. But in my opinion; it has not solved the issue.

Good luck!

I forgot to mention that the video that TwinBoat sent was very helpful. That video appears to be shot while driving slowly however if one thinks about that amount ot movement at 60 mph, that is very violent shaking and also dangerous. I think we are on the way to getting this problem fixed!
Again...thanks to all of you for your suggestions!

We've had that happen 15-20 times since June 23, 2018. We've spent alot of time in Freightliner Shops across the country--they have been very good to work with--they couldn't see anything that was obviously wrong but they kept trying things because they knew this was dangerous.
We will keep you posted!
