Air Conditioner Stuck On

I have a "newer" Class A HR Vacationer 35P with the Ford chassis and the air conditioner has recently stuck on. It's not bad since it's been hot lately in Michigan. It's a hassle to take this rigs in for service so I'm looking for some recommendations to an easy fix. Should I try pulling an air conditioner fuse or maybe a battery disconnect? Thanks.... Ron

Dash A/C or roof mounted A/C? If dash A/C just remove a sensor plug off the A/C line and it will quit. For Roof Top a breaker can shut it off.

Hope this helps, it works on my MH.

Terry

Yes pull fuse. But the clutch bearing may have went bad and Locked compressor on all the time .If that's the case it will run compressor to death. When engine off try to turn compressor center by hand.
Does it have an AC indicator lamp on all the time as well or just cold air. I imagine there is an AC relay but I have never seen one weld or fail closed.

The AC indicator and the air conditioner turns off and on with the fan setting control. It's just when it's on pushing the AC indicator button doesn't turn it off.

I figured out the a/c push button on the dash was sticking in the ON position. After poking around under the dash I pushed on the back side of the switch and it popped out. This unstuck it and at least I don't have to take the rig in now.

Glad it turned out to be a simple fix!
