Air gauge cracked and leaks

I have a 2009 winne 34y and the air gauge has a crack in the plastic where the green air line goes into it. should air leak out of it if the gauge is good or does that indicate a bad gauge. somewhere I have seen a replacement air gauges but that has been a while ago. I am fiberglassing up the crack and am just trying to find out if it may take care of the problem without spending 640-1000 bucks on a gauge. p/n w22-00013-017 12v 5" 4 in 1

The gauge has a curved bulb in it that straightens out with pressure.

If the bulb splits, air leaks out and can crack the screen.Click image for larger version

For the price of the gauge I might see if I could do some nondestructive investigation just to get a closer look to where the leak is from . Even add a separate air guage.
EBay has a new for 330 ish
