Smile Air horns stopped working

We have a 2007 Monaco Sig Noble III -for some reason the air horn started skipping a beat (beep). It works when it wants to, very strange. Has anyone had this happen, and if so, what was the fix?

Need help!

Check the voltage at the air solenoid. If you have a good ground and it's 12v, then your solenoid could be bad.

My Beaver has been doing the same thing. Sometimes both horns work, sometimes one of them works (sounds pretty crappy when they both don't sound), and sometimes neither works.

Mine was also working when they wanted to! I found out it was the button in the VIP steering wheel! If you push it really hard, and up, it would honk! I have not tore into it, to fix it yet! My center of the steering wheel that holds the button does not want to move, no screws that I can see or feel? Not wanting to damage it, I have left it alone. I don't know if it screw's off, or you gently pry the center of the button out? If anyone has taken there's apart, how does the center section come off? It has too, somehow, come apart, to remove the wheel?

Ok, with some research I think I found it!

Wheel looks similar to this one!

So if I take that center section out, I should be able to get to the horn button! And make it work better! Rail!

Send a message via ICQ to Ivylog
Could be the smart wheel, the clock spring, or the solenoid. I would check for voltage at the solenoid first.

Check the ground coming off the solenoid.
