Air system question

Hello, I have a "neo-vintage" 1995 Monaco Dynasty slowly rehabbing back to health. Freshly remodeled into a "mountain beach house". It was recently treated to a new air dryer cartridge (old one was dated 2008!) and two new rear steer-axle air springs, one of which had developed a hole some time earlier this year. After replacement, the air gauges go just above 90 psi, which is in the low-normal range, according to the manual. However, when driving it back from the repair facility and re-parking in storage, the "low air" light came on as the pressure seemed to drop quite a bit when braking, particularly when maneuvering to park in storage. Stoplights were not a big deal and pressure went right back up once accelerating again. If parked at normal pressure (90+), it will drop to 50 or so over 2-3 hours, where it seems to stay. I've listened for leaks at all 4 corners, the engine, and the air dryer (with engine off). Nothing! Silence everywhere. I'm a little lost now. What could I check next?

If it matters, it was stored from January 9th of this year, after a 550-mile trouble-free drive home to Indiana from Maryland. Was parked until 2 days ago to take to repair facility to replace 2 bad air bags.

Thanks!!

You could try adjusting the air governor, or better yet, just put a new one on.
They are relatively inexpensive.

Since this issue only appeared after the air bags were installed I'd have a chat with the guys that installed the air bags. I assume nothing else changed. Did they reset the governor for some reason? Good luck.

I actually have a new governor, haven't put it on though. Not sure whether it needs any specific "calibration" or adjustment to work properly. As far as I know, the shop didn't touch it.

Quite often the air dryer assembly needs to be rebuilt, in addition to the new dessecant filter.
For air governor adjustment, CCW increases air pressure CW decreases air pressure. The adjustment is usually touchy, go slow N easy; 120 psi is normal higher air pressure may contribute to air leak problems.

If your air pressure only drops when you are using your brakes, it seems to me it could be a brake controller.

Should come out of the box pre-set to about 120psi unload.
