Hello Group,
I wanted to see if anyone has done an Air Throttle Conversion on their RV to replace the KC Boards? I would think that since its pretty much impossible to get a new KC Board that someone has made the switch. My board is bad and Im looking to replace it with an Air Throttle. I have seen a company in TX that does them but Im looking to do it myself. It looks like the hurdle is the TPS.

KC Boards? Air Conversion? Not familiar with either term. Please enlighten me.

King Control was an electronic throttle/cruise control uses on mechanical, Cummins, diesels before the advent of the electronic engines.

Steve Boler was providing service and repairs on the King Control until recently but has closed up shop.

If the King Control is no longer functional, it has to be replaced with an old fashion cable system or Air Throttle (throttle function only). Rostra Cruise Control has been used in several conversions to provide the cruise function.
