Aleko awning
Bought a 2000 winney and most everything checks out ok except it has a ALEKO electric awning and the wires are cut so I can not figure out how to get opened enough to rewire it-any suggestions- they give me a tool for manual opening but it does not work on this style- the manual with it is also useless-thanks Rich

You could call them and ask for manual/schematic.

WARNING! When I first went to their site I got a popup "Spin to Win" just clicked on the X to close it, never came back.

There may be issues with it going back in ,so best to play with it when and where you can have it out for a good while.

We can not figure out how to get it out but I will try and hot wire to open position then decide where to go next--I would think there is a manual opening procedure but can't figure that out either -They give me a tool to manually crank it out but it has no place to get hooked to- ready to take it off and go with a A&E-Tks Rich

On my A&E power awning on my 5th wheel there is controller in a basement compartment. Since you said the wires are cut on yours are you missing the controller?
I would keep bugging the manufacturer call and email. The squeaky wheel get the grease.

I just bought one of their awnings: 20x8 ft for $818.
Looks like yours is about that size too?
Where is the motor?

So it is inside the cylinder and the wires run in the arm?
Thanks!

Interesting...after installation, I wonder how that thing came out. It seems to be secure on mine.
