We are newbies to class A motorhomes and are considering a 2005 Alfa 36FD. Looking for any comments-feedback pos or neg from anyone who has experience with this brand or similar model. Thank you. Koopgal

I'd suggest a Google search on "Alfa motorhome delamination". It should prove most informative. Their delamination problems were a primary factor that led to the demise of the company.

Do some careful research. An Alfa is not a good idea IMO.

I have spent some time next to Alpha owners over the last couple of years. One owner had "pitting" on the sides. Alpha's have a fiberglass structure and in this case the polyester resin used contained too much MEK causing a fast "cure" which caused the pox. It is fixable, however delamination is extremely expensive and certainly not cost effective. This is one where extreme due diligence should be used IMHO!
