I’m sure the inside “home” part looks like new......or at least it should.

My worry would be the minimal mileage on a 15 year old chassis. The “motor” part of a “motorhome” has lots of components that would be old from age but not mileage. Has the previous owner got any maintenance records? Tires....how old?
Hoses....how old? Fluids.....how old? Mechanical all check out safety-wise?

Just some thoughts.

I bought a 1999 motorhome 3 years ago. It had 15000 miles. I did all maintenance, put on 6 new tires and batteries, and did some upgrades. It has been a reliable coach!

Some Alphas had bad blistering on the outside walls due, I think, to water intrusion. You need to check that out carefully.

Look it over very closely for de-lamination of the fiberglass (bubbles). This is a known problem on Alfa's.

I would also be concerned about the unusually low mileage on a 15 year old coach and inquire why it wasn't driven more.

Also check the tire date codes and dates on the batteries. I would guess both are very old and need replacing immediately.

also not mentioned, alfa was a canadian company that went out of buisness . while most stuff is standard on all rv's some things could be unique to alfa and hard to find.

How did you figure that Alfa was a Canadian company, inbogie? According to all I can find out it was manufactured in Ontario, California.

Also as an interesting side note, the company was owned by the son of John Crean, president of Fleetwood for many years.

X2.
It's too bad John Crean's son wasn't the clever, honorable person his dad was.
The Alfas lacked in quality.

They are known for tall slide rooms, big windows, and high ceilings. I’ve never owned one but have had friends that did and loved them.

IMO, see my signature - next join this group " https://groups.io/groups ".
Next join this specific group " https://alfaseeya.groups.io/g/motorhomes/topics "

What you will find, is over 1000 members who have Alfa's on this site. In addition, thre are over 4000 Alfa's still on the road.
Some people will say stay away. I say state away from what?

Freightliner Chassis -
Atwood Products -
Aqua Hot or Precision Temp
Cummins or CAT or MB
SiGi windows

I could go on, but do join the group. Susan and I started with a 2003 SeYa, we now own a 2008 Alfa Gold SoLong.

The Founder was the entry level coach introduced in 2005.

The product line went like this after 2005, Founder, SeYa & then Gold.

I know the person who owns Serial number 0000, released in 2001. Still in excellent shape.

Join, before you listen to all the negatives, remember even the Prevost have there issues, join the group and talk to other Alfa Owners, just mention my name as to who directed you there.
