I'm struggling to make the connection between ABS and the Allison 1000, unless perhaps it is the Stabiltrak traction control system. Can you explain a bit more?

I purchased this MH a little over 4 years (11K miles) ago and TCC came in at 37MPH and stayed. The ABS light comes on and goes off at random. The ABS light did not affect TCC. According to the previous owner the ABS light started coming on or off at random after he had the brakes pads replaced, and he just never took it back to them as everything worked just fine. The transmission went bad and one of the symptoms was failure to hold in lock up. After having a rebuilt unit (direct from Allison) the TCC does not hold and the shop is trying to get out of repairing it by claiming the ABS light is the reason for TCC failing to hold.
The transmission shop is correct. The ABS light activating is the reason for the TCC failing to hold. You have not yet fixed the real problem…the ABS system.
