Alpine Coach cold weather travel

I have recently purchased a 2003, 38', Alpine Coach. We are not quite ready to head south for the winter. The weather is heading towards that freezing point and I do not know if my furnace heats the lower compartments so I don't have to winterize if I run my furnace. Does anyone know the answer?

You might want to confirm on the Alpine Owners Forum that your coach has heated tanks.

Based upon their excellent reputation, I would bet that it does!

You can also just take a look in your storage bays, if you see heat vents then you will know that the water tanks will be warmed by your furnaces.

Leave the Hydro hot on electric if plugged in as there should be a temp sensor in the storage bay to keep it heated.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! I too would go to the owner's forums to get that answer. Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
