It does seem that most 40' coaches in the mid level tier have front GAWR of 12,400 and rear of 20,000 using the Freightliner chassis, so this is not unique to Tiffin or the Phaeton series.
I noticed the Fleetwood Revolution and American Eagle using the Liberty chassis has increased axle weights and GVWR. These are slighter higher tier coaches.
I just wonder if I'm being a too concerned about these weights. Most folks with 40 ft coaches seem to be OK with this, I've just heard some say it's something to watch out for.

Yup I'm the kind of guy who likes to do tons of research. Just asking.

I'm not full-time, but we are on road for 10 weeks at a time so we are pretty fully loaded. Have stacked washer/dryer. Have had coach weighed several times, once four corner, and still have additional capacity at all 4 wheels. Don't have weight sheet with me now so can't give actual numbers.

Some say don't get bath and half, we love it and wouldn't be without. Definitely a personal preference item.

Some complain about DEF, I like it. Exhaust is so clean! Doesn't use much so don't have to fill very often. My mpg is fine. I wouldn't go older just to avoid this.

We've have no significant issues with our Phaeton 40QBH and love it.
