American Allegiance 09 ac thermostat

The atwood ac thermostat will not cut off Zone 1 AC. It is behind closed doors and has a remote sensor for zone 1 and zone 2 has anyone else had this problem. If so what was the cure? American Allegiance 09.

We had the same problem on the same coach. All ACs are wired for all options, even if you don't have them. As an example, the wiring is there for a power gen slide, and the power cord reel, even if they are not on your coach. These coaches are also wired for three A/Cs, even though our Allegiance has only two. The dealer finally determined that the problem with our thermostat was that it was wired to the third A/C...which we don't have.

American Allegiance 2009 40X, We found the problem, the remote sensor in zone one was not connected to the thermostat, must have come that way from factory and previous owner did not discover, coach only has 8,000 miles on it. We had to pay for a new sensor, new thermostat, and labor to run down the wiring. Cost of $980 which our extented waranty will not pay for because it was a factory wiring problem.

I will try to go back to American to see if they will pay since it was their problem, thanks for your help.
