American Revolution
I've been lurking for a couple of months, looking at getting an American Coach Revolution. Anyone have any thoughts on these? It is a 2014 model that has been on the lot for 18 months. They are discounting it quite a bit. Any things to look for? Do people with Revolutions like them? Used to have a MH - but sold it a couple of years ago, so not totally new.

Welcome Carl
I think most owners love the Rev, I have a 2011 tradition and it has treated me well.

Mine is a little older than the one you are looking at and we love it.

American Revolution
What is 'discounting quite a bit' , 30+% off MSRP I'm assuming?

I have not heard a lot of issues with the Revolution. The important thing is whether the floor plan works for you. Go sit in the coach with your family(?)--throw the salesman out so you can have a private discussion--and imagine how it would work for you to camp in it. Also put the slides in to see how it would work with the slides in--when you stop in a rest area for lunch, you probably wouldn't put the slides out--not all of them anyway. Do you have storage for what you want to take along, are the storage areas in the right place and accessible when you travel, etc. etc.
What I would not recommend is buying just because you get a good deal money-wise. If it is not really what you want, it may not be a bargain.

It's a real nice coach. AC customer service is top shelf. I'll trade my Providence for your new Rev. I've got the bugs worked out. . You can't go wrong, period.

I think that a good used Rev would be the only coach that could replace mine if I were looking to trade.

We've been very pleased with our 2011 Revolution. Yes, the first year we were busy chasing the bugs out of it (and yes, the American Coach service department is top rate), but we'd buy another and have already had someone suggest they'll be interested in ours if and when we decide to trade it.
